Certain trees release sap or resin that can harden over time into unusual shapes.
Yet:
- Resin is typically amber or golden, not gray
- It doesn’t form structured shapes like this
- It lacks those “gripping” features seen here
4. A Man-Made Object (Most Likely Answer)
This is where things start to make sense.
The object’s features strongly suggest it is artificial, possibly:
- A piece of forest art or sculpture
- A rubber or silicone prop
- A prank object placed to surprise hikers
- A decorative or experimental installation
The smooth texture, unusual coloring, and almost creature-like design are typical of molded materials rather than natural growth.
