Finally, Celtic magicians used it to defend themselves against spells and to heal the sick. In the case of the Hebrews, Egyptians and Chaldeans, they believed that rue was a gift from their gods, and so it was considered sacred.
In the case of America, the Aborigines used it to prepare love spells. It was said that by placing a twig under the moonlight and then giving it to the loved one, one could conquer his or her heart forever.
HOW TO GROW RUE
It is said that rue is much more powerful than if a branch is taken from someone else’s garden and planted in the ground by the person who will use it, since its energies will remain in the leaves. If you want to plant one, these are the steps you should follow.
– Never do this if you are in a bad mood, depressed, angry or stressed. We don’t want that to be the energy you transmit to the plant.
– If you are a woman, you cannot plant them during your menstrual period.
– If you plant rue just out of curiosity and do not trust its properties, you will not have any results.
– Spend time with it, but don’t overdo it, so that it gets sun and you can water it.
There are currently two known types of rue. The first is considered male and has large leaves. On the other hand, the one with small leaves is considered female. The male rue should be planted on the left side of the garden, while the female rue should be planted on the right side.
Rue is a plant that cats do not like at all. Therefore, do not plant it near where there are cats, unless you want to prevent them from doing their business in the surroundings. When the plant begins to wilt, do not try to save it. This is a clear sign that it is absorbing negativity and providing well-being.
